Proposed new clan rules

Well if you've noticed there's quite a lot of under 18's in the clan.

Not that I have a general problem with that it's just I like the older gen.

So I think our quota of kiddies is getting full... unless we see someone who is something special.

So I propose over 16's at least from now on... ?

I could be unfair and say over 18's but yeah... meh.

Don't worry under 18 members, no one will be kicked it's just I like to play with people my own age.

Alright then, let's put our standards a little higher then. They have to be VERY GOOD or cool... I mean we have some great players!

Coolness > skill though in my opinion.

If there's someone who's good and they know they're good and are wankers about it then they can fuck off.

i was thinking, you guys want people who play sensibly but has a good time, well here's my solution:

there's 3 ways we could do this

1 - we have a 3 day trial period, starts when they sign the application and after 3 days we decide whether or not to let them in the clan.

2 - leader voting, kinda like xfactor, me sharps and Fleccy vote yes or no if they should be let in the clan, 2 yeses means they're allowed 2 nos means they cant. you know how it works...

3 - we bung the 2 together, 3 day trial period and at the end the leaders vote.

what you think?

either way we reduce the chance of recruiting a noob.

personally i don't mind recruiting anyone 'cuz i can put up with it, but if i had to choose from one of these, it would have to be the 1st.

As it is looking like I am one of the oldest! heeeheemm! I would like to suggest that it is all about how much fun you want to have when playing the fucking game! :)

Have you thought about an "A" team and a "B" team set-up.

Having a selection process sounds like a great idea but if I may be as bold to say that just because you are a bit older it doesnt mean you can play the game better!! Let's face it I am 40+ and I'm fucking shit!!!

I would love a go in the team clan but I know that I don't feel ready to jutify my place!

Young or old high or low level!! What the fuck just enjoying it even if we end up playing in the uber-clan TDM world finals!! as long as it is still fun then FK's will go on!! Thought!!!!!!! :D

More detail on the A and B team idea? is it like this? people are not as good (like me) in one team and ppl who are a little better in another team?

The only thing with that is that i don't want to offend people.

But the clan is a community as well. so maybe we should carry on with the community (playing on the server) and also have a match team. with people who think they are good enough to have a clan match. And ill make a training server so we can train more often for matches. then when you think you are ready you can join a clan match?

See, I think this A and B team idea is good.

The clan is getting bigger by the day. Lots of new recruits, some good and some not so good. A training sever for all fk members would be a fantastic start on our way to some serious competitive play. Organise a training night once or twice a week, ask around and see what night would suit most members, and have a second night hopefull for those who missed the first, Pratise with FK vs FK matches and slowly become better as a team.

For the A team, pick the best players that have shown there skill in the sever or the training matches. We could pick the best from the sever, but thats not a sure way to find the best team working players for matches.

Admins should decide which people for which teams, and obv there will have to be substitutes for the A and B team.

With more pratise and training, im sure the people in the teams will swing about now and then, will people from the B going up, and people from A going down. As long as in the long run everyone is where they should be, this shouldnt be a problem.

Personally, age should only matter in the case of maturity. If someone can play the game without being smug, or bieng a asshole to other players, then the sage shouldn't matter.

And last but not least (sorry for the long post, just posting whats in my head lol) the trails for the new members are coming up, and one of the admins is away for now. I guess its up to fleccy and sharps to decide what happens to them :)

Yea i think it is a good idea too. But becasue we are on Team A and team b that wont mean that team A and B wont see eachother again. Team A will just be in clan matches. We will all still knock about on the main sever all the time. cos i like that the most :P

Most outstanding ideas FK's > ;) I think that the main thing is having a good time. Having a few basic guidelines doesnt change ne of that.

Alpha and Bravo will certainly meet on the server regularly! :D

Training nights are a good idea too!

Age means exactly what it says!! (bollox) I'm 45 and probably mentally, on ocassions, younger than a lot of the clan!! lol However I do agree about the smugness (unless some twat deserves it)
